Lumen is a nine-person studio working on brand identity, digital product and the websites in between. We take on four projects at a time so that each one gets the whole studio.
What we do

We are not a full-service agency and we do not want to be. These are the four disciplines we are genuinely good at, and we will tell you when a project needs something we do not offer.
Brand identity
Naming, marks, type systems, and the guidelines that keep it all holding together after we leave.
02Digital product
Interface design and design systems for software that people have to use all day rather than admire once.
03Web design & build
Marketing sites that load fast, read well and can be updated by someone who does not write code.
04Art direction & motion
Campaign direction, illustration systems and motion that earns its place instead of decorating.
They pushed back on half our brief, and they were right about most of it. The work is better for the argument.
